Having issues with Shipping ..

Post Having issues with Shipping .. 
I only want to ship 3 ways and I have actually changed my settings to do so. I have also went into the Cpanel and changed the page where it shows how I want to ship. I used Alleycode to make the change. When you go to order, it is still showing 50 million ways to ship when I am only trying to allow 3 ... what am I doing wrong?

What version are you using?
If you are using v5, you have to manually edit the shipping options available in the order form file.

extra note:

the shipping managers do not regulate what shows up in the order forms. We leave that for manual edits... mainly because there are billions of things you can do, and why restrict you.

order forms are by gateway name in the html/forms sub-directory of your store

in the store manager in the shipping screen; after setting up your shipping options (remove or add extra fields too) then click submit. without doing anything else after the page refreshes scroll down to the bottom of the page and copy the code generated in the txt box. in the step one html file you'll see a comment to replace the shipping options between "here" and "here". replace all of the existing code with what you have in your clipboard. save. upload in ascii. you're shipping options should now be what you want. if there is too much go back to the shipping editor and look for the problem in the area representing the shipping method.

I finally got this issue fixed today. I was editing the wrong order form LOL ... I am learning as I go. Thanks for all of your alls help.
