I've determined my problem, no assistance needed.

It might be nice to know where to acquire untampered files for templates (index, css, header, footer) so that folks can look back at what they changed. Just a suggestion.

Thanks for anyone who considered helping.

You can get them from the Downloads page...
Just get a complete copy of the default cart files by downloading the .tgz file for your version.
