 Home Page Categories HTML Location
Where is the HTML for the Categories column on Home Page located? Have searched forums, but no results. Can find index.HTML, but need to edit categories HTML.

Categories are dynamically created based on the products in the database.
Change the products in the database and those categories will change, also.

Yes, but I have an empty category that I cannot delete, it is blank and list (104) items that do not show, but show in product edit. Need to find the HTML and delete the line for that category.

Then your database has a line in it that it shouldn't.
You will need to download the data.file in ASCII mode, open it in a plain text editor and find the empty line in the database.
What is the URL to your store?

Have done that several times, cannot find any bad lines in database. Webpage is green45.com

I know where the bad line is, and can see it in view source with HTML editor, bur cannot find the page in the store folder.

Use something that will show line numbers, it might help.
There might even be lines where a hard return was used in the description of an item.
Every new line is a different product and every hard return creates a new line.
