PLEASE HELP In BASIC language... I don't have a CLUE how to start
Thanks to anyone willing to help me out

Unfortunatly, I'm dumber than I thought! I just clicked on it and nothing happened... I guess I don't even know where to go to set up this cart!
Is it done in a web browser? In a site builder program? How to I get a place to put the info, and collect it!?
Then I had a flash of brilliance.. I should read other posts before making my self look dumber!! I apologise for jumping the gun...
I have a class to teach tonight, but when I get back I'll do some reading and figure out what do... I promise my next questions won't be so clueless!

Looking thru the manager, I'm still unsure how to add this cart to my page... My cpanel shows that agora is supported, and it has buy it now buttons... I'm not sure what to do now...

			Ok OK OK
Thank you all so far for your king responses to my stupid questions.

I read the tutorials given above... I have followed the instructions... Now I'm again wondering what to do!!

I changed the settings in my Agora Manager as the beginner tutorial told me to... I'm wondering... Where do I create the actual store? Can I just include the buy now buttons in my catalogue pages that my website site builder has? How do I get the cart onto my site? I haven't added a page for it to go...

I apologize again for my lack of knowledge... I promise I am normally a fast learner
Shelley

The following tutorial is really good:
http://www.allisonsonline.com/training/agora.cgi
You can use add to cart buttons, but sometimes it can be a lot of work.

How many products do you have?

BTW, you can take a look around forum in the "Add to Cart/Buy Now Buttons" area for finding out how to use the add to cart/buy now buttons.

That is the tutorial I looked at. What it DOESN'T explain, in plain speak, is HOW the cart actually goes onto my page... What do I have to from my site builder to implement it... Then How do I add items?
My cpanel says it supports agora... and the add buy it now buttons are included with image loading page...
What I don't understand, Is do I have to re make all my pages that have items for sale? Can I just add a button? Where will the shopping cart appear on my site? Will in be on everypage?
Did I waste a week building a new webpage that will now have to be redone with this program for the cart to work??
I guess I just haven't found the BASIC no background cart knowledge explaination of how this works... If I EVER figure it out, I'll write a tutorial from my VERY novice point of view to help others in this spot... I just feel like even the basic info is splatting the wall over my head!!
 Thanks!
 Shelley

What is the URL to your site?

Before making any edits, add anything, etc... you first need to get the default cart working through the checkout process using the Offline gateway. This will save you tons of headaches down the road.

AgoraCart is a very powerful shopping cart system, but you will need to give yourself some time to learn about the cart and how it functions. It is not a plug-n-play type of thing. It does take some knowledge of html.

The URL to your store is:
http://www.metaldesignz.com/shoppingcart/agora.cgi
You can take a look at the store there as well as test out how it functions.

It looks like you might not have set up the path to the images folder correctly in the manager -> Program Settings -> Main AgoraCart Store Settings

You should have in that field: html/images
