Hi folks,

I was wondering how I make certain fields in the order form "required information" (such as name, phone, etc ..) and have others not be required (such as e-mail addy, etc) ...

Chris you would need to edit the required fields array in the <gateway>-order_lib.pl file in the library directory of the store.

hell-o
assuming you're using the offline gateway go to the store/library/Offline-order_lib.pl
take a look at this sub...
sub Offline_fields

there are two basic parts to the fields. the top
%sc_order_form_array
has all the stuff in the gateway
the second part
@sc_order_form_required_fields =
declares what stuff in the first part need to be required to continue to step two.
there's more stuff you can do with this but that is where the required fields are configured.
