Post Coupon support 
Is there coupon support in the pro version of the cart? I am looking at allowing customers who buy certian items and only those items to receive a discount by purchasing a coupon for say $400.00 and the coupon be worth $500.00. Does anyone know if this is possible?

This was already answered in agora2 Yahoo group.
There is not a coupon hack like that available.

Sorry did not mean to waste anyones time. I am just looking for a solution to my problem. I saw that the booster pack says it has coupon support, are the booster packs included in the Lifetime Premier membership? If so then what does the coupon support in the booster pack do? Can you explain how the booster pack coupons work even if they are not included in the Lifetime premier membership?

The coupons are basically only taken off off the total. I haven't seen anything for using a coupon on an individual item.

I'm not really looking for an individual item per say more like only for this category of items can the coupon be used for.

I haven't seen it for even that. Only for taking the $$ off the entier order in the checkout process.

hmmm if i remember correctly... mark created a hack (mas_count_me_out) that allowed items to be excluded from shipping and/or tax charges... i think he might have even included discounts as well but I'm not sure... I actually just double checked and here is the file description

so if you became a lifetime member then installed the discount hack and mark's hack it sounds like you'll be able give consumers a discount code that'll only work with one category....

I don't think it works that way. It has to do with excluding or including certain products from the global discount being applied to.
If there is only 1 coupon, then this would work. But, if there are multiple coupons for various categories, it won't....

Although, it might be able to be altered... not sure though, haven't really looked to deeply at the hack...

i guess we'll need more details from jbedgood.... but if he only wants the coupon(s) to work on one category then there would be no problem implimenting it.... if he wants certrain coupons to work on certain categories and other coupons for other categories i don't htink it'll do that...
