In the agora cart there is currently a script for canadain sales tax that is incorrect for residents living in Quebec. Here is an example of how it is presently calculated in the agora cart add-on.
Example:
$100 Sale ----> $ 100.00
GST Tax Added at 7% 7.00
Sub-Total $107.00
PST Tax Added at 7.5% 7.50
Total Sale Amount $114.50 - This is actually wrong if people are using as it is descibed in Agaora Cart Section
The CORRECT WAY it Should Calculated:
Example:
$100 Sale ----> $ 100.00
GST Tax Added at 7% 7.00
Sub-Total $107.00
PST Tax Added at 7.5% 8.03 (7.5% Should be calculated on the subtotal including GST at $107.00)
Total Sale Amount $115.03 - This is the CORRECT TOTAL>
If anyone out there is capable of of suppying the new script , alot of us would appreciate it.
