I have a drop shipping store, drums, for example, need a different shipping method (table rate) than jewelry (UPS). Will AgoraCart be able to do this, either as is, or with a plug-in?

AgoraCart can handle just about any shipping scenario.
There is custom shipping logic or rate calculators available for UPS (drop-ship can be specified), USPS, and FedEx.
(FedEx is available to Gold Members with v6 as an "for pay" add-on module)

If you tell us how you want it to calculate, exactly, we can better direct you to the solution that will work best for you.
